My fiction explores identity, memory, power, desire, and the complicated ways we construct—and sometimes reinvent—our sense of self. I'm drawn to stories that examine the tension between authenticity and performance, intimacy and ambition, beauty and power, often through the lens of queer experience.

Although queer characters and relationships are central to much of my work, my goal is not simply representation for its own sake. I'm interested in writing psychologically rich, emotionally resonant fiction that places queer lives at the center of stories just as complex, flawed, and fully human as any others.

I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe, where I now serve as Faculty Advisor for Sierra Nevada Review. My fiction has appeared in Split Lip Magazine, OLIT, and the Saints & Sinners LGBTQ+ Literary Festival Anthology. Following my participation in the Sewanee Writers’ Conference in 2025, I was selected for a September 2026 residency at the Vermont Studio Center and the McCormack Writing Center’s 2026 Speculative Online Workshop.
